  1. Basic characteristics:

TB9 (Ti-3Al-8V-6Cr-4Mo-4Zr) titanium alloy is a metastable beta commercial titanium alloy developed by RMI in the 1960s in the United States. It is an alloy composed of titanium elements as the basis and other elements added. Titanium has two types of homogeneous heterocrystals: titanium is an allotrope with a melting point of 1668 ℃, and exhibits a densely packed hexagonal lattice structure below 882 ℃, known as alpha titanium; Above 882 ℃, it exhibits a body centered cubic lattice structure and is called β - titanium.

The chemical composition includes chemical components with unspecified values in the table. Analysis should only be conducted if it is assumed to exist or in routine analysis, and there are indications that its composition will exceed the specified value.

  3. Application area:

TB9 titanium alloy rod is a highly alloyed and high-strength metastable beta titanium alloy. Its nominal composition is Ti-3AL-8V-6Cr-4Mo-4Zr. After solid solution aging treatment, the gold strength of this alloy can reach 1200~1400MPa, and the fracture toughness is 58~66MPa. m ^. It has high tensile strength and corrosion resistance, and can be used as a spring material. This alloy is widely used in aviation springs, high-strength fasteners, torsion bar foil honeycomb structures, and aircraft carrier ejection devices.
