  1. Basic characteristics:

    TA9 titanium alloy not only has comprehensive mechanical properties such as high melting point, non-magnetism, low coefficient of thermal expansion, high specific strength and stiffness, but also has many excellent properties such as good corrosion resistance and resistance to biological erosion. TA9 titanium alloy is mainly used in dilute sulfuric acid, dilute hydrochloric acid, and dilute phosphoric acid environments, and is also widely used in titanium equipment to prevent crevice corrosion, such as as in tubular heat exchangers and components such as textile spinnerets.

    In addition, titanium is a new type of metal with a density of 4.54g/cm3, which is 43% lighter than steel. The light metal magnesium is slightly heavier, with mechanical strength similar to steel, two times larger than aluminum and five times larger than magnesium. It is also heat-resistant, with a melting point of 1942K, nearly 1000K higher than gold, and nearly 500K higher than steel. The performance of titanium is related to the impurity content of carbon, nitrogen, hydrogen, oxygen, etc. Pure titanium iodide has an impurity content of no more than 0.1%, but its strength is low and its plasticity is high.

    TA9 titanium palladium alloy is widely used in various highly corrosive environments, including reactors, towers, high-pressure vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, valves, centrifuges, separators, pipelines, fittings, and electrolytic tanks, TA9 titanium alloy is also used in industries such as military, medical, sports equipment, glasses, earrings, headwear, electroplating pendants, welding wires, etc. It is mainly used in the manufacturing of compressor components, such as forged titanium fans, compressor discs and blades, cast titanium compressor casings, intermediate casings, bearing shells, etc. Spacecraft mainly utilize the high specific strength, corrosion resistance, and low temperature resistance of TA9 titanium alloy to manufacture various pressure vessels, fuel storage tanks, fasteners, instrument straps, structures, and rocket shells. Not only that, artificial Earth satellites, lunar modules, manned spacecraft, and space shuttles also use TA9 titanium alloy sheet welding components.
