  1. Basic characteristics:

    TA18 titanium alloy is a near a-type titanium alloy with a nominal composition of Ti-3A1-2.5V. Its development was originally intended to produce cold working pipes. This titanium alloy exhibits strength 20% to 50% higher than pure titanium at room temperature and high temperature, and its welding and cold forming properties are similar to those of TC4 alloy. Although the maximum working temperature of TA18 is about 315 ℃ and its strength is slightly inferior to TC4, its excellent cold working performance has made it widely used in the aerospace field.

  3. Application area:

This titanium alloy has a density of 4.47g/cm ³, The room temperature elastic modulus is 118~123GPa, the phase transition point is 925 ℃, and the hardness is 15~17HRC.
