  1. Basic characteristics:

    TA11 alloy is a near alpha titanium alloy with a nominal composition of Ti-8Al-1Mo-1V, containing alpha stable elements AI and isomorphic beta stable elements Mo and V. This alloy has a higher elastic modulus and lower density, so its specific stiffness is the highest among industrial titanium alloys. The room temperature tensile strength of this alloy is comparable to that of TC4 alloy, but its high-temperature strength and creep resistance are superior to TC4 alloy. TA11 alloy has a higher sensitivity to hot salt stress corrosion than TC4 alloy.
