Acceptance of incoming pipe blank:
1. Surface inspection
Inspect the tube blank for serious eccentricity and other defects in the production process, whether there are spiral lines on the outer surface, and whether there are quality issues such as peeling on the inner surface.
2. Chemical composition
For the quality certificate provided by the raw material manufacturer, our factory takes samples from both ends of the pipe according to regulations and sends them to the laboratory for retesting. After comparison with the supply and demand contract, they are accepted according to international standards (3620.1-2010).
3. Testing
Cut 40-60mm samples from both ends of the pipe blank for destructive testing to determine whether their plastic and elastic properties are qualified, and whether there will be post compression cracks and depth defects on the inner and outer surfaces.
4. Dimensional tolerances
Check the maximum and minimum outer diameters of the pipe blank; Maximum wall thickness, minimum wall thickness, and check if the dimensions meet their size range.
5. Scraping pipes and boring holes
Before rolling, the outer surface of the extruded tube blank should be scraped and bored on one side with a diameter of 0.25-0.3mm; Before rolling, the perforated pipe blank should be repaired with a polishing machine to remove surface defects and cracks. After rolling one pass, the inner boring should be carried out, with a single side diameter of 0.25-0.3mm.
