  1. Basic characteristics:

    TC16 is an alpha beta two-phase titanium alloy, with alpha stable elements including Al and eutectic beta stable elements Mo and V. The β stability coefficient of this alloy is about 0.83, with moderate strength and good plasticity in the annealed state. It can be used to manufacture cold headed rivets and bolts like β alloy. This high-strength titanium alloy can be strengthened by heat treatment. After solid solution aging treatment, the strength of the alloy reaches 1030MPa or above, and it is less sensitive to stress concentration such as notches and skews. This alloy is mainly used for manufacturing fasteners, with a maximum operating temperature of 350 ° C. This alloy semi-finished product includes hot-rolled bars and polished bars (wires) for cold heading.
